BARTENDER | Kelly Walsh, 31

WHERE | Niki's Bar & Grille

QUESTION | Labor Day weekend has passed... what are your thoughts about tourist season coming to an end?

ANSWER | Our bar is more of a locals spot so we tend to stay busy in the winter.

What one thing did you want to do this summer but didn't get around to it?

Go on vacation.

To where?

The mountains.

What do you plan on doing this fall?

Working...and hopefully going to a Wiz Khalifa concert and/or a Li’l Wayne concert. And I'm looking forward to football season. Go Giants!

Kids are back to school. Now that children are waiting at bus stops, do you drive more carefully?

Of course, now that they're out. But I always drive carefully watching for children.

Be honest, do you slow down at school zones?

To be safe or so you don't get a speeding ticket?

A little bit of both.

Would you rather accidentally hit someone or get hit by a car?

Either way as long as it’s not severe and just a little bump. Actually, I've accidentally hit someone. But actually, they hit me on their was their fault.

What was your favorite grade in school?

My junior year in high school.

Favorite subject?

What class would you never want to have to take again?

Where did you go to high school?

Socastee High School.

How many times you run into someone from high school who you don't want to see?

That really doesn't happen that often. I loved high school so when I run into someone I'm usually excited.

If you could do high school all over again what would you do differently?

I don't know if I would do anything different. Maybe try harder... but I loved high school. I would do it all over again if I could.
