BEN DOVER, PAGING MR. BEN DOVER...

Every election we hear the same crap from a different bunch of politicians. None of them keep their campaign promises anyway, so maybe it would save us all a lot of time and trouble if we just bend over now and take the screwing we are bound to get .

SEEING THE LIGHT

I think it's a good idea to try and provide safety for college kids trying to cross (S.C.) 544 to get to and from school and housing. If putting in a traffic light helps make it safer, so be it . But to use the death of a student as an excuse is ridiculous. This happened after midnight, not during any school session or activity. Plus it was about a quarter mile away from the area in review for the light. Underage drinking is a different problem that traffic lights don't resolve.
