It's actually coming true - my son is moving here to go to school.

What brought you to Myrtle Beach?

We moved here so I would have more time to write. I'm a romance novel author and I'm trying to get a book published.

Who would you want to jump out of your birthday cake? (Aside from your husband, of course.)

Probably Tom Cruise.

Would you let him talk you into Scientology?

No. I just always remember him in “Cocktail” and in his briefs in “Risky Business.”

Is the movie “Cocktail” what inspired you to be a bartender?

Yeah, I tease about that.

Your patrons seem to love the referee outfit. What team do you root for?

I'm a die-hard Browns fan. I wear this on football days.

Do you use a referee whistle?

I've been asking everyone to get me one. I don't have one yet.
