“Officials emphasized that no public funds were accessed or put at risk” - that’s part of the Palmetto State’s government response to the cyber hacking of tax-payers’ sensitive personal info that can lead to I.D. theft and financial ruin. Yeah, wouldn’t want to dip into those slush funds, pork barrel projects and travel envoys to Paris, now would we, never mind our personal funds being compromised.
