In an effort to boost holiday sales, retailers nationwide are opening their doors earlier than ever to cash in on the holiday shopping season - and the Grand Strand is no exception.

While most stores are keeping with the tradition of opening in the early morning hours of Black Friday, others are attempting to up their sales figures by opening Thanksgiving evening instead. Nationally and locally a select list of retailers are starting their sales as early as 8 p.m. on Thursday, leaving just enough time for your Thanksgiving dinner to digest.
