Myrtle Beach: In the midst of a Winter tour of the southeast U.S., Myrtle Beach-based rockabilly quartet, The Swinging Step Dads, will take time to engage the local crowds where it all began. The band is set to host a CD Release Party and one-hour Concert at the bar where the band got its start three years ago; Billy Bob’s Tornado Alley Bar & Grill.

In the late summer of 2012 the band recorded its first all-original, full length project, “Get off Me Daddy, You’re Crushin’ My Cigarettes.” The 11-song project will be available for online downloads and in CD form, for sale for the first time at the CD Release Party, Kilgor Trouts in Myrtle Beach, and on the band’s Web site (www.swingingstepdads.net)
