THE LOCALE | Chuck & Ducks Sports Grill, Broadway at the Beach

THE LOWDOWN | I don't think I've ever seen as many large, high-quality, big screen TVs as inside Chuck & Ducks Sports Grill at Broadway at the Beach. Well, maybe at Best Buy, but as far as I know, that retail giant doesn't offer beer, so you might want to head to Chuck & Ducks to watch a game with a cold beverage in hand. That's where we went for happy hour this week.

You'll find Chuck & Ducks Sports Grill next to Fat Tuesdays at Broadway at the Beach in the spot where Sharkey's used to be located. They've made some changes inside the building, including hanging dozens of TVs - some behind the bar, some overhead, and nine grouped together in a large square, which can be viewed as one massive screen.

Sports team flags hang from the loft-style ceiling above sports fans below. Whether it's college football, NFL or UFC, patrons snag a seat at the bar or tables and are able to see at least one - most likely several - TVs.

Chuck & Ducks offers all day, everyday happy hour. Appetizers are half-price all day. Plus you can cash in on deals such as Loaded Nachos or Wings with a Bud Light Pitcher for $15 bucks. You can also get $11 domestic buckets, $2.25 domestic bottles, $2 domestic drafts, $3 well liquors and $2 Fire Eater shots. On Fridays you can snag $3 Fireball shots and $3 cans of Heineken, Miller Lite, Coors Light or flavored Jack Daniel’s.

TIPS | Locals receive 25 percent discounts.
