THE LOWDOWN | If you're looking for a locals joint with cheap drinks, you may want to swing by The Pilot House in Little River. That's where we went for happy hour this week.

The Pilot House is located by the Little River waterfront, across the street from the waterfront locales. And although you aren't actually on the water at The Pilot House, you can enjoy the open air atmosphere provided by the wide open garage doors.

You'll find a mix of locals, regulars and fisherman inside The Pilot House. Patrons belly up to the square bar and a handful of high and low-top tables. You can also snag a seat outside at one of the picnic tables.

If you're an Ohio State Fan, you're in the right place. You'll notice the array of decorations containing the Block O, and during football season, plenty of fans head to The Pilot House to watch the Buckeyes play.

Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Drink deals include $2 domestic beer bottles and $3.75 well drinks. Plus you can snag $2 beer cans all day everyday.

TIPS | The Pilot House sometimes has live music for special events and poker runs.
