Murrells Inlet fish house adds bar, which means it’s happy hour time

THE LOCALE | Wahoo's Fish House

THE LOWDOWN | If you're looking for a nice place to enjoy a cocktail and perhaps some dinner, you may want to check out the new bar inside Wahoo's Fish House (the popular outdoor tiki bar is still on site). So we ventured inside Wahoo’s for happy hour this week.

Wahoo's Fish House is along the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet where Divine Fish House used to be.

You'll see the new bar as soon as you walk in the door. The large atrium of Wahoo's Fish House offers a classy nautical decor. Shelves along the wall hold glass shells, fish and more.

The wooden bar resembles a yacht, complete with a handful of white bar stools that resemble boat chairs. There are a few more of those chairs at a couple high-top tables, as well as a couple of blue couches where you can sit and relax.

Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. Drink deals include $3 wine, $3 liquors and $2.25 domestic beers.

TIPS | Wahoo's Fish House also offers daily food specials.

FIND IT | 3993 U.S. 17 Business, Murrells Inlet. Call 651-5800 or visit www.wahoosfishhouse.com.
